Best and worst performing Aussie brands

By many accounts it's been a tough year for many of our most well known companies.

Aussie icons such as Qantas, Harvey Norman, Kmart, Myer and David Jones shed millions of dollars from the value of their brands, the latest Brand Finance Australia report has found.

But it hasn't been a terrible year for all Australian businesses with some local operators adding upwards of 20 per cent to the value of their brands.
