Just buy it !!!

Ignore ancient imbeciles with pedantic percentages and uninformed tripe.  Hello Frockle.

Rare Earths are the way to go.  Australia the place to get them...and only one Aus producer by next year...LYC.

Japanese co will pay $300m just to have the right to buy the stuff from LYC,  Forget the other juniors riding on our coat tails - you want the real deal - buy LYC.  Just do it !!!

Ecchi - gotta say i dont like this new forum !  (Didn't like the old one either)   Went to give myself a thumbs up for my brilliant LYC post... and you cant rate your own post ? wtf ??

So the good news is that someone else gave me a thumbs up - was it professor ratbag or the Frock ?  Or someone else who it could have been but you wouldn't believe in a million years !!!
Is it possible?  I think so...ha ha

Bad news is Frock didn't give himself the thumbs down....and it wasn't me...yet....so who was it?   None of my dummies have made it here yet..or maybe they dont like it either??

Time to get over your sour grapes Frock Cake.  NTU cannot blow smoke up LYC's ar$e !

If ntu had anything good to announce = we would have heard.  The best ann they had is that LYC bought in.  If the charts tell you NTU outperformed LYC you stick to reading tea leaves.  Last month NTU 43 back to 32 - LYC - 1.16 to 1.53...

You said for years you want me out of your life...now you have an ignore button and you wont use it.

Pretty clear example of what a liar you are.  Huge liar - cr@p chart reader...you.

Fruit cake - what does the chart tell you about NFI or WTF ? Does it form a pattern resembling your fat head and puny shoulders?

Hello Zoe - i read on Hot Copper they were up to $1.65 on the Pinks - that may be a US$ converted to AUD - but there is little to no conversion difference these days.

You wont need luck - just be prepared to put up with lots of manipulation as major holders increase and decrease their positions.  Lot of tree shaking goes on - but get in - hold tight - enjoy the ride through next year.

Do you intend to buy and hold - or trade?.  Trading can be v v risky while the manipulation goes on...buy hold you wont go wrong...imo

Cup n handle - hmmm - not my cup of tea....I'll stick to fundamentals.

Good luck.

Sorry Zoe - In good faith I cant suggest any good chartists from this forum - its ordinary at best - but hotcopper.com.au is excellent Its pretty easy to register and its very well moderated.  You have to wait 2 days after registering before you can post - but you can still read and there are a lot of very wise posters there.  There are those who prefer fundamentals - and those who post on charts...even i can understand them.  They split it up on the LYC thread to traders and short termers.  I'm sure you can find some help there. They are always good for help and suggestions.

Sorry i couldnt tell you much more.  great that you're in....be careful trading these - but holding med to long term - its a good thing.  Maybe wait for any more dips from the tree shakers to get in for traders ??

Hot Copper well worth a look..only other advice i could give you is to not hang around this forum too long....you wont learn anything here....

If you want to know anything else - just ask.
Good luck with your trading and holding...

PS  I have a feeling someone posted about a cup and handle on HC about LYC..so yuo could well be onto something.  I'm also rather biased towards LYC...so dont read tooo much into my overt enthusiasm....

To paint the complete picture of NTU - it has a market cap of around $60m.  The neccesary permits to mine and produce will take the best part of a year to procure and the costs of processing separation and cracking plants are near enough to $1B...thats a B - not an M.  16 times what the co is worth today.  This represents either massive dilution..massive debt (if they can get it) or a bigger player taking over (to refine the product to a marketable product) - on the bigger players terms.  Without one of these options NTU goes nowhere.  I cant see it getting its product to market (alone) based on current figures.

Its also worth pointing out that the not so recent spike in price was mainly due to LYC buyng a 10% interest in the company...and if LYC were to realise that profit - the share price would drop further - not to mention the stop losses that get triggered along the way.

To borrow from the anaolgy above - these are not even in the starting stalls yet - let alone in sight of the finish line.  Another gauge is as the poster above like to use is the 3 month performance.  I'll tell you that 2 months ago NTU were 44 or 45 - and closed yesterday at 36.5 - down about 18%.  The same time LYC were about $1.20 - closed yesterday $1.66 - up 35% in the same time.  NTU is a gamble imo.

LYC is cashed up - Phase 1 sold out - Phase 2 almost sold out - talk of Phase 3 coming on line sooner...$400m cash in the bank...processing plant almost complete - neccesary permits in hand...funding for expansion agreed to...NTU are 1/4 the share price of LYC - and 1/60th the market cap - but about 1/1000th the value at this time.  The facts and figures speak for themselves.

Apologies to the Princess - this is 3 in a row for me.

Zoe - I don't know whether you managed to find Hot Copper or not - but someone there has posted a few LYC charts with a detailed analysis - and there is a cup and handle (v easy to see) you spoke of...so you ARE on the right track with your T/a.

"There is another uranium stock that went from 2 cents to over $10 in less than 4 years. Work that out as a percentage increase. And sure it had a low market cap. Very often that is best."

Something that needs to be added here is that along with increased returns come increased risks. Risk is an important variable you need to decide on in your strategy and is similarly important in assessing which stocks fit into that stategy.
