
The General Manager, Strategy at Colonial First State, Nicolette Rubinsztein has a passion for investment concepts and a talent for explaining them.
In her role as General Manager, Strategy, Nicolette is responsible for developing company strategy in conjunction with the management team, business planning, advocacy and general CEO support.
Nicolette started her career as an actuarial analyst for a South African life company; she is a qualified actuary, holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Science (Hons) from the University of Cape Town.
Prior to joining Colonial First State in 2001, Nicolette was a Vice President and Head of Product Management at BT Funds Management, a Product Development Manager for Master Trusts at Advance Funds Management (now part of St George Bank) and a Consultant at Towers Perrin where she provided superannuation advice to trustees and companies.
She is on the Association of Super Funds of Australia Board and was a recipient of the inaugural Investment and Financial Services Association (IFSA) Excellence Awards. She is currently chair of the Financial Planning Association Strategic Marketing Committee and has chaired numerous IFSA committees.
Nicolette is married to Jonathan Rubinsztein and they have two daughters - Zara and Yasmin.
