Westpac will start weekend banking in New South Wales this Saturday, May 10, when 28 Sydney suburban and regional branches will open their doors from 9am to 12 midday. Among the branches to open are Ashfield, Hurstville, Wagga Wagga, Corrimal, Orange and Gosford. The NSW Fair Trading Minister urged other banks to follow Westpac's lead.
